World Generation

Roads, cities, gas stations, NPC outposts and world landmarks.

World Generation

Four kinds of structure generate naturally across the world, each with its own loot table and risk level. Knowing where to look saves a lot of time when you're trying to make money or scavenge factory parts.

Roads

Roads spawn within 25,000 blocks of spawn and provide quick overland travel between regions. NPCs occasionally patrol them, so don't assume they're safe just because they're convenient.

Gas Stations

Gas stations generate randomly alongside roads and are guarded by NPCs. Each station contains two chests, which have a chance of dropping factory parts and valuable military supplies, well worth the detour if you spot one.

Cities

Cities also generate alongside roads and vary wildly in size, from one or two buildings up to around thirty. Every city is patrolled by NPC units. Buildings hide many chests with civilian-grade loot, and there's a small chance of finding a factory part in any given city. Methodically looting cities is a reliable source of income.

NPC Outposts

Outposts generate throughout the world, both near spawn and far out past 15,000 blocks into the Outback. Every outpost is patrolled, and the chests contain military-grade loot well above what cities offer. Hopping from outpost to outpost in the Outback is one of the most consistent ways to earn high-tier gear.

Vanilla Minecraft structures such as dungeons, strongholds, temples and the like do not generate on this server; the world is entirely built around custom structures.
