Earning Currency

Factories, missions, PvP, NPC farming and the Scrap Dealer.

Earning Currency

The server runs on a single in-game currency that you'll need for almost everything: weapons, armour, claims, factories and vehicles. Money can be made in several ways, and most successful players combine more than one income stream.

Factories

Setting up factories is the most consistent long-term earner on the server. They produce items passively over time, even while you're offline, and scale up significantly with upgrades. See the Factories page for the full breakdown.

Missions

Missions begin at random and are announced in chat before they start. They're high risk, high reward. You can walk away with serious loot, or get killed by enemy players and hostile NPCs going for the same prize. Worth jumping into whenever you see one start.

The Scrap Dealer

The Scrap Dealer NPC at spawn buys items from your inventory for cash and a small amount of RP. It's the simplest way to convert loot into spendable currency, and it's where most NPC drops end up.

Crafting

Using a crafting table produces in-game currency rather than the crafted item itself. It's a steady low-risk earner, particularly for newer players who may not yet have the gear for NPC farming or PvP.

PvP

Killing other players lets you strip their gear and either use it yourself or sell it on. The risk is obvious, but well-prepared fighters can make a real living off other people's loadouts.

Wild NPC farming

Hunting wild NPCs in the Wilderness and Outback, then selling their drops to the Scrap Dealer, is one of the most reliable ways for solo players to earn money. See Farming NPCs for tactics.
