Raiding
Breaking into other people's bases and taking what isn't yours.
Raiding
Raiding is where the largest profits and largest losses both live. A well-prepared raid can pay for weeks of normal play; a botched one can cost you a fortune in gear and explosives.
Preparation
Before you commit, scout your target. Work out how their walls are built, how well-equipped they are and roughly how many active members they have. Once you've decided to go ahead, you'll need:
- C4 — the standard method of damaging enemy territory. Bring enough to match their block types.
- Lockpicks — for doors and chests once you're inside.
- Combat loadout — assume defenders will be online or arriving soon.
Raid windows
Every faction has a 2-hour raid window when their base is vulnerable. You can find it via /f info <faction>, or trigger it indirectly by firing explosives at the base. If the faction owner or an admin has recently moved the flag or changed the raid session, the base is unprotected for 24 hours instead, a prime opportunity if you spot it.
C4 costs by block
- Bulletproof glass — 1 C4, or one Barrett .50 cal round.
- Reinforced timber — 4 C4.
- Concrete — 5 C4.
- Explosive resistant glass — 5 C4.
- Hardened steel — 8 C4.
- Obsidian — a 5% chance to break per C4.
- Other blocks — a single C4 each.
See Base Utilities for more on each block type. The whole raid must be completed within the target's raid window; once the window closes, their territory becomes indestructible again.
Breaking In
Breach enemy territory using explosives such as C4, Huge Explosive Charges, and Artillery Rocket Shells (Himars). Use them to create an opening and gain access to the enemy's loot rooms and flag. Choose your entry point carefully; reinforced blocks like obsidian and hardened steel require significantly more explosives, so targeting weaker walls or exposed sections of the roof can save valuable resources.

See Tactical Equipment for grenades, smoke and other throwables.
Once inside, start emptying chests. Locked chests need a lockpick and a full 5-minute wait; safes take 15. Plan your time accordingly.
- When someone starts lockpicking, it is announced in chat along with the coordinates, and the message is repeated at regular intervals until the lockpick is completed.
Tactics
- Decide in advance whether you're hitting them whilst they're online and distracted or waiting for them to log off. Both have their place.
- Split your team. Dedicated raiders inside the base, spotters outside, and ideally a sniper covering the approach.
- Be aware that everyone online can see when your lockpick starts or a member dies. Surprise is harder than it looks.
- You don't have to warn anyone before raiding. Catching them off guard is usually the entire plan.
After the flag falls
If a faction's flag is broken, the owners have 5 real-world days to plant a new flag in the claimed chunk or all their territory unclaims automatically. Locked chests, safes and doors immediately become unlocked.
If you steal the flag and plant your own, you can lockpick chests and doors and empty or destroy factories. Your faction can hold multiple captured bases, though you won't be able to teleport to them via /f home.
To get notified about raids while offline, activate the raid notification upgrade from your faction flag and connect your Discord account on the server's Discord. Our bot will alert you as soon as someone detonates explosives inside your territory or kills a member.
