Zones

The world is divided into several zones, each with its own rules around PvP, block-placing and vehicle theft. Knowing which zone you're standing in matters a great deal. The zone you are in is displayed above your information bar on the right of your screen.

Safe Zone

No PvP is possible here, vehicles can be parked without fear of being stolen, and no blocks can be placed or broken. Use /spawn to teleport in. Respawning here gives you no items, so come prepared. Note that the safe zone has a height limit; sneaking over the edge exposes you to fire from the warzone whilst preventing you from shooting back.

Warzone

PvP is enabled but blocks still cannot be placed or broken. Vehicles can be stolen by anyone, though it takes around 20 seconds to pick one up. This is the main area for spawn-side PvP and many of the in-game missions. Reach it by leaving spawn through any regular exit, respawning into it (which gives a stone sword, a pistol and some food) or using the parachute sign at spawn.

Wilderness

Beyond the warzone, the Wilderness allows full PvP and free block placement. This is where bases get built and raids happen. You can reach it by walking out of the warzone, using the wilderness teleport sign at spawn, or respawning directly into it. Respawning here gives you basic farming tools and a pistol. Cities, roads and NPCs all generate out here.

Underground

You're considered "underground" whenever you're standing beneath natural blocks (dirt, stone, logs and so on) or below Y level 30. Teleport times triple while underground, which makes it a poor place to hide whilst trying to flee.

Base

A region inside the Wilderness created by placing a faction flag. Members of the faction can place and destroy blocks normally; everyone else needs C4. Reach it via /f home or by respawning at a faction bed.

Enemy Territory

The same idea as a Base, but viewed from the wrong side. Blocks can't be placed or destroyed without explosives, and teleport times here are tripled.

Outback

Anything more than 15,000 blocks from spawn in any direction is considered the Outback. The screen darkens slightly and a chat message announces your arrival. Base building and factories are banned out here, but you can still freely use a faction outpost. There's no border; it extends indefinitely.

PvP Arena

See the PvP Arenas page for details on the standard and advanced arenas.

Advanced PvP Arena

A higher-difficulty version of the standard arena with tougher NPCs and better rewards. See the PvP Arenas page for details.

Minigame

A separate dimension reached by joining a minigame. Anything that happens inside is fully isolated from the main server.
